The Minnesota West Lady Jays sit atop the Southern Division women's basketball standings and the play of sophomore guard Emily Haubrich is a big factor in their success.
In a pair of MCAC South victories this week, Haubrich factored into more than 33 points in each contest by setting up teammates and scoring some buckets herself. The unselfish guard averaged over six assists per game and chipped in 20.5 points from the floor over the week. The Carroll, Iowa product also averaged four rebounds and three steals per game.
The Lady Jays are 4-0 in the MCAC Southern Division and sit 13-4 overall. Minnesota West will take on Anoka-Ramsey and St. Cloud Technical & Community College this week in MCAC action.
