College football: Bluejays' Ortiz Offensive Player of the Week

WORTHINGTON -- Andrew Ortiz, who led Minnesota West to a 36-12 road victory over Central Lakes Saturday in the Bluejays' 2018 season opener, has been named the MCAC Western Division Player of the Week.
The freshman quarterback from Albuquerke, N.M., completed 13 of 23 passes for 252 yards, accounting for four touchdowns. He also ran for 47 yards on 11 attempts.
