2025-2026 season will be Tucker’s second season as the Pitching coach at Minnesota West. He helped lead the Blue Jays baseball team to a 14-28-1 record during his first season with the team. Sorenson had previously been a student assistant at Kentucky Chrisitan University, an NAIA program where he finished his playing and college career. While there as a player he was recognized with NCCAA First Team All Mideast Region, NCCAA Second Team All Mideast Region, and an Academic All American. Before attending KCU, Sorenson had played at Minnesota West where he was named MCAC Southern All-Division, MCAC All-State, as well as winning pitcher/player of the week honors three times. Other notable playing experience, he played in the Western Canadian Baseball League (WCBL).
